Les Chenilles is a French school in Walthamstow, London, offering classes to children of nursery and primary-school age. I was comissioned to develop its website containing essential information about school's live and a pair of image galleries.
Design – together with the school's branding was created by an art director and curator Érika Muller. During the design process Érika organised a workshop for children from the school where letters for the logo were created. Those letters are also featured in the website's design.
Development – the one-page website is based on a basic WordPress theme – Twenty Twenty. The main challenge was to individually position the letters created by the children and to animate some of the caterpillars (les chenilles), done with CSS.
