Dowd & Harper is an online music library with PRS-licensed tracks for media projects. The tracks are categorised in moods and can be listened to via build-in audio player or downloaded straight from the website.
Design – the website's design style is minimalist with intuitive user experience. Its home page contains an animated illustration of a turntable. The moods (categories) can be accessed from an uncomplicated menu and consist of playlists with downloadable tracks. Each mood has a different background colour that enhances the UX.
Development – the website is based on Perch CMS and it's built with HTML and CSS. AmlitudeJs, a lightweight JavaScript library is used to create bespoke audio player together with the playlists.
