Here Comes the Rain

This minimalist series captures the shifting moods of a summer rain — a metaphor for the quiet rhythms of life, emotion, and impermanence.

The sequence begins with a cloud hovering above a pair of bare legs: anticipation, a weight gathering. The rain arrives in the second image — a visual darkness, an emotional downpour. In the third, the shadow begins to lift. By the final frame, the legs walk free, bathed in light and simplicity.

The nude legs, rendered in flat, bold colours, evoke vulnerability, freedom, and fleeting warmth. Rain, like many moments in life, comes and goes — leaving behind clarity, lightness, and the scent of petrichor.
